Comparison of listing about documentary "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding"   (also known as  "Gypsy Weddings" )  in 'TV choice' and 'What's on TV' magazines.

The documentary was screened last year and was very sucessful, now it's being re-screened after being expanded. Follows a series of big events for travellers.
  • TV Choice:

    No adverts or distractions
gives documentary a full page spread
better choice of words   ( titled "Traveller's Tales" )
impressive photo to go with the review
    about 500 words
two pictures, better / respectable angles
    interview with producer

  • What's on TV:

    Half page review
shares with another documentaty  - page titled  'Real Life TV'
    "Gypsy Tales!" tabloid heading
    potentially offensive - eyecatching
"Take a peek"  - spying on them / prying into their lives
    interview with executive producer
same two pictures but gives tacky look /  not very good angles
    less words

  • Radio Times:

    2 pages spread with collumn
different pictures, different angle   (at same level with girls in photo)
contains the same 2 pictures to others - better looking angle
    better quality / better composed
    better title "loud and proud"
higher production magazine - more expensive
linked to another page about the documentary with another photo
    quote from dress maker
    shorter review but nicer words
